Amelia's Story
Today, I am going on a school field trip to the zoo. My teacher and classmates will come too.
We will ride a bus to the zoo. I will sit in my wheelchair on the bus. My teacher will make sure I am safe.
When we arrive at the zoo, we will see many animals. I will stay with my group and listen to my teacher.
The zoo might be noisy. That is okay. I can use my blue ear protectors to help with the noise.
I might see lions, elephants, and monkeys. I will look at the animals from a safe distance.
We will have lunch at the zoo. I can eat my lunch with my friends and enjoy the day.
After lunch, we will explore more of the zoo. If I feel tired, I can tell my teacher, and we can rest.
At the end of the trip, we will get back on the bus. I will sit in my wheelchair again for the ride home.
Going on a field trip to the zoo can be fun. I will see new things and be with my friends. I am ready for a great day!
